We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Gardener & Landscape Maintenance Assistant to maintain and improve the appearance of decorative plants and landscaped areas around our office premises.

The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for indoor and outdoor plants, maintaining gardens, and ensuring that the office surroundings remain clean, attractive, healthy, and well presented.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain decorative plants, flowers, shrubs, and other office landscaping.

* Water plants regularly and ensure they receive appropriate care.

* Prune, trim, and shape plants to maintain a neat and attractive appearance.

* Plant new flowers, shrubs, and decorative plants when required.

* Remove weeds, dead leaves, and unhealthy plant material.

* Apply appropriate fertilizers and soil treatments when necessary.

* Monitor plants for pests, diseases, and signs of poor health.

* Replace damaged, dying, or unsuitable plants.

* Maintain flower beds, lawns, garden areas, and other landscaped spaces.

* Keep gardening areas clean and free from leaves, branches, and other waste.

* Recommend suitable plants and landscaping improvements for the office environment.

* Maintain basic gardening tools and equipment in good working condition.

* Follow safe working practices when using gardening tools, fertilizers, and other materials.

* Perform general groundskeeping duties as required.

Requirements

* Previous gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping experience is an advantage.

* Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance.

* Ability to identify common plant health problems is an advantage.

* Good physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor/manual work.

* Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

* Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Experience maintaining indoor decorative plants is an added advantage.
